Oxford United in the Community’s Development Centre is an invitation-only programme offering an opportunity to boys and girls (under 7s to under 16s) to train in a team environment, improving both individual ability and technical and tactical knowledge of the game.

Oxford United in the Community’s Development Centre is an invitation-only programme offering an opportunity to boys and girls (under 7s to under 16s) to train in a team environment, improving both individual ability and technical and tactical knowledge of the game.

A 36-week term time training programme.

A games programme during school half terms vs other professional clubs’ Development Centres including Northampton Town, MK Dons, Brentford, Swindon Town, Wycombe Wanderers and more.

Players will be invited via our Skills Centres, Holiday camps, After School Clubs and in-house school tournaments.

A 36-week coaching syllabus to cover all aspects of the game.

Feedback and monitoring player reports, after each 12-week block of coaching.

Coaching delivered by FA qualified coaches at level 2 (minimum).

Each player has the opportunity to represent the badge by wearing the OUFC training kit whilst being upskilled as a player to support their grassroots football team. *

*Players can participate in the programme whilst continuing to play for their grassroots club.
Players who are progressing and performing to a very high level in the Boys programme may have the opportunity to be recommended to the Head of OUFC Academy Recruitment.

In the Girls programme, players who are progressing and performing to a very high level may have the opportunity to be recommended to the OUFC Girls RTC Academy Manager.
